If I use a 100 pin TQFP pASIC3 FPGA from Quick Logic, then all I need to do
is program it. It'll act like the processor I want. I can even get a limited
number of demo chips imprinted with the program for free! I'm already 2 or 3
steps ahead of you. ;-)
As for the price? $21.50 per chip if I buy in sets of 90. Since I don't
expect to see any real demand for this new A2, I doubt that I'll do much
more than get a set of free demo chips for my own prototype.
