I suspect this is dependent on the PCT hardware BIOS, so I doubt there's a
permanent fix - if I'm wrong, though, someone please tell me!
As a work-around, edit your MS-DOS AUTOEXEC.BAT file so that the last line
reads DATE
Then you'll get a prompt to enter the correct date each time you boot it.
