     The moderator certainly does. You notice this even more in chatroom
discussions.

     Even so, A2MG can not serve as a model for Csa2. The size and scope of
the groups is entirely different. Moderation works (indeed, makes sense) for
A2MG because, up front, the group has a narrow focus.

     It's like walking out of the main hall at a users' group meeting and
going into a VisiCalc sig meeting room. No one in the sig room expects to
debate club policies, etc.. For that they have the meeting in the main hall.

     Csa2 could be moderated; but, correct moderation would consist of little
more than eliminating the occasional Get Rich Quick, Sex site, etc. spam
postings. Practically everything else would have to be passed through and we
would have to put up with hours (or days) of delay between postings and
responses.
