Re: Problem loading prodos on IIGS
The ProDos file is on the disk. I dragged it to the disk which I formated as
Prodos on a mac that has one of the older drives that are able to format
double-sided disks in prodos format. I don't have any other disks with Prodos
so I can't do anything on the IIGS until I do this. Thank you for the help so
far though.

PRODOS. Try booting ProDOS from a known-good IIgs diskette and see if you can
CATALOG the files on the new disk.
The files from Apple's site are in a Mac archive format. Dealing with
them on a IIgs could be difficult.
Maybe your Mac can create useable diskettes from the files. If not, your
best bet may be to download the GS System 6.0.1 disks from USA2WUG at
http://www.grin.net/~cturley/USA2WUG/SystemSoftware/IIgsSystem601disks/ to the
Mac's hard disk and move the files to your IIgs via a NULL modem connection.
(See http://home.swbell.net/rubywand/Csa2T1TCOM.html .)
The stuff on USA2WUG includes a Text file with installation directions
plus the six System disks in plain shrinked disk form with standard patches to
fix HS.FST and Text Edit bugs already applied. The .sdk files just need to be
unshrinked to 3.5" diskettes via GS-ShrinkIt or 8-bit ShrinkIt on your IIgs.
