The general opinion of anti-pirates. Yeah, get freeware and shareware
from the legal sites. Get non-reclassified software from the used
market or go without it.

Too simple for your simple mind? geez.
you've got some invalid crud in posts yourself. Do you even follow the
threads you post all this garbage to?

My mythical task? whatever.

Yeah, you are turning "Rubyesque" as you call it. It is downloadable
from the Bernie site. Now you're a liar too.
So you say "ITS NOT OK TO PIRATE, BUT LINKING TO PIRATE SITES IS AOK!
GREAT! ESPECIALLY IF YOU WANT TO USE THE NEATO EMULATOR THAT **I**
USE"........Thats hypocrisy if I've ever seen it.
Child porn is disgusting and illegal, but it's okay to link to child
porn sites from your own. Yeah right.
> Now where is that newspaper?.. (*rolls it up to swat Bernie*)
While you're swatting Bernie, you might let him know that he links to a
well known pirate site, and it is illegal to download copyrighted
material. Or you might have him show proof of Apple INC.s permission
and upload the ROM to his site, but he hasn't already done that.
Pirate!

WTF? You kiss your mom with that mouth? The "pirates" make the
argument that it takes alot of time to find used software, and you may
never find it. They say that you should be able to download it.
ROM's may be hard to find too (yeah right. go find a $2.00 paper-
weight apple IIe and take the 20 minutes to transfer the ROM to your
emulator). They shouldn't be available for download.
It is hillarious that people pirate one thing and then get all bent out
of shape when someone else pirates something else.

Wow, thanks for the enlightenment. I've only read it here 500 times in
the last month.
I am referring to the thought process of those who let you download
ROMS from their site. IE, the Bernie people. To them it is ok to
pirate the ROMS. But then the Bernie programmers (erase that s) come
to this newsgroup and post anti-piracy messages. Its funny!

Come on, just because someone may or may not be a friend of Mr. Turley
doesn't make him any worse than any other pirate. I know I cannot
convince you of this because to your this is battle against one man,
not a battle against piracy.
You have logic just as twisted as "ruby", "tom", and the "turlettes".
They do something and *think* its okay, and have arguments that try to
prove why its okay.
You think pirating ROMS is OK. Piracy is Piracy.

So you agree that downloading ROMS is illegal? But you think it's
okay? heh he
The light was never off. I feel so much better now that Quantum_crap
says 'cool!' in reply to my post. I've gained the approval of a pussy
(insert "no, you don't have my approval" from quantum.crap here)

You refer to yourself as a vogon. Thats a funny name! Little straw
man, I don't know where you got that from. I'm not pounding on
anybody. You 'vogons' (since you admit you are in a group called the
vogons) think it's okay to pirate ROMS but nothing else. this is a
load of crap.
I don't hope your cringe. You should just leave. Your battle is
against 2 people. Rubywand and Mr. Turley. Why don't you take the
battle up in email?
> Copying ROMS from machines you don't own is illegal. But to

If you kill one person, it's AOK. If you go on a murderous rampage and
kill 5 people, BAD! BAD! hah ha ahh hah . YOu are funny! Your lack
of following your own preaching is funny.
It's okay to molest one child, but if you do it to more than one, your
are a child molester. your logic is twisted
> distribution of hundreds of megs of commercial software is

I'm not taking sides here. I am saying both the Vogons and the
Turlettes are pirates. Both the Vogons and the Turlettes need to
leave, and we can sell our Apple II's to people to use as doorstops.
vogons pirate roms
turlettes pirate software
It's okay to pirate roms, but not software.
If we had a group of people in the a2 community that designed hardware
and programmed the ROMS for the apple II, then you vogons wouldn't be
getting much hardware. They'd all call you ROM pirates (which you are)
and you wouldn't get new stuff when it came out. Same way the 'vogons'
create software and don't let csa2 readers get it.
