I knew someone would jump on that :-)

I bought about 20 DD/DS disks (mostly Apple disks) in early June, most are of
freeware stuff (like Beagle Bros that are on the Lost Treasures site) I did not
know the condition of Einstein, so I thought I would ask around before I used it.
If it is still copyrighted (as it would seem to be) then I'll have to get rid of it
(as in reformat the disk.) However, it certainly isn't doing any harm to be in a
disk box under my desk for a couple more weeks before I reformat it.

As a matter of fact, as I have said in another post, I have scores if not hundreds
of disks that have "backed up" or pirated (I really don't know which) software on
them - disks that I got when I bought computers (usually from teachers.) I have
dumped them into disk boxes, and when I need disks, I reformat, if they aren't
damaged, and toss if they are. Since I'm not using the programs, and not giving
them away, I don't see any moral or legal obligation to worry about how soon I have
to reformat the disks.
