Some hope for IIe accellerator users and high-end programs

Accelerators are cool, but they can be a pain. Several of my favorite programs
(Tutor-Tech, PublishIt!, BeagleWrite) that use DHR screens and a mouse haven't
worked with either the TransWarp or ZipChip, while SuperSelector, a text-based
mouse program works with both. Still no functioning with the Zip, but the
TransWarp does work if I disconnect the joystick or move the mouse about
immediately upon start up.

It seems that just any minute vibration is enough to jiggle the joystick
somewhat and send out a signal to the programs that the joystick should be the
input device. I don't know why BeagleWrite does this as well, because it
doesn't even use a joystick, but it's solved the problem for some of my
high-end, mouse-menubar driven programs.
