Well, I think the conventional wisdom is that hardware is easier to sell
because it cant be pirated.  Most people think the software is easily available
on pirate sites.  And there is quite a biy of usable PD stuff if one has been a
user for a long time and used to either buy or download the stuff from local
BBS like I did.

I think the main reason to sell software today is to move the documentation.  I
recently sold an Ultima IV because I had the original box and book and cloth
map etc.  I am currently trying to sell Hitchhiker's Guid to the Galaxy, again
I have original docs and artifacts.  Much software isnt too usable without the
docs.  For some people maps and stuff are important.

I also have Beagle Bros books for sale, if you plan to use Timeouts well, you
probably need the books, even thoght the software is now PD.
