  After all this time, the parts may be pretty corrodded by now...

   I have heard of a place in Southern New Mexico where a freight train
derailed back in the 60's or 70's.  There were several car loads of brand new
Cadillacs.  They were damaged in the derailment, and the insurance company came
out and looked at the mess, and then the railroad was instructed to dig a big
hole next to the tracks and proceeded to bury all these brand new cars.  I knew
someone who worked on the railroad at the time.  Sounds odd, but I wouldn't
rule it out.
