Has anyone ever tried case repair by casting new plastic in place?
I have a clone with part of the top and sidewall smashed and I was
thinking I might be able to do a clean cut around the smashed part,
take a casting of the other side, and then use the casting to mold a
new piece of plastic in place.
The only thing I have my doubts about is how well the repaired section
might hold together.
Somebody out there must have tried this, right?
