Still wonderin' what the difference is between a Unidisk and an external
Mac 3.5 inch drive (I've tried
several of these and they all work on my IIgs).

But now I've also picked up (for $3) an external Apple 5.25 inch drive.
Same grooved 'frogdesign' as the
3.5 inchers.

However, it's got the widest plug/connector I've ever seen (60 pins?);
can't recognize this from any pc,
mac, or Apple II I've ever encountered. It says "Apple PC 5.25 drive" on
the underside.

Could this be from an Apple 5.25 inch controller for the Mac, or II?
Does it need a special controller or could
I make a cable with a 'normal' 25-pins connector myself?
