You are correct. It is designed to be connected to a Mac with a
special controller card and will read IBM PC 360K floppys. I know
there was a card for the Mac SE PDS slot for this drive. I don't know
whether there a NuBus (Mac II) card made for it. There is no chance of
getting it to read Apple II floppys.
