     The explanation may be that you have reached the limit on volumes which
can be mounted under the version of GS System you are using. So, although the
drive has a valid diskette, you will not be able to access it.

     A good solution is to install GS System 6.0.1. It allows mounting more
volumes on the desktop. An alternative is to boot ProDOS v2.0.3 and access the
diskette under ProDOS-8.
