Re: New motherboard for IIGS case
Just a thought, but has anyone ever tried using the Apple IIe card or the IIe
chip from a IIgs to make a portable Apple II? I guess that it would need a
suitable power supply, memory RAM, a ROM or Hard Drive, a screen and a keyboard
interface, but it should be smaller and lighter than even an Apple //c. I
guess that the Tiger Learning Computer came pretty close a few years ago.
As far as using a 550Mhz card in a IIgs case, why not use the Bugg Power Supply
with a splitter setup that Steve Buggie supplies. Then both the IIgs and the
IBM card could both be on at the same time! Would running them from a single
monitor be a problem?
