a drive for it.

Hi Sandy, 
You have a nice find there with the Mountain Music cards. Two cards
occupying two adjacent slots in an Apple ][ provided 16 oscillators
(voices) digital, additive music synthesis. Software allows the user to
create and/or shape new sounds and sequence multitrack digital
music. Alpha Syntari software as well as many other programs support those
two cards. Most of the software requires the accompanying keyboard and (a
third) interface card.

The Passport midi card allows the user to connect a midi equipped keyboard
and/or midi sound module to the Apple ][ or the IIGS. I think your card
was developed for use with the Apple ][ or //e but can also be used with
the IIGS; Diversitune, Soundsmith and Music Composer support that card as
do other, less-known music programs for the IIGS.
