Thanks for the information.  I actually only have one Mountain Music Board. 
There is a ribbon type cable at the top that is stripped.  There isn't a
second board, so in effect you are saying I have half the card. What is the
connector on the midi card called.  I have an XLR type connector for a
microphone, but nothing round that fits the midi.  I'll need to watch the A2
Central Video on "Integrating Music with Your Products.  I recall that
working with Diversitune was one of the first discussed.  I have a friend
with a keyboard so we'll try this one out with the Sonic Blaster. Thanks Al
