Don't worry, Bev--he's threatened this so many times that
it's almost funny. Besides, looking at the merits of the
case, it'd be thrown out of court quickly. And any
lawyer who took a defamation case like this is interested
in relieving the client from their money--they know that
this wouldn't hold up. But, nice barking, Tom. :)
Oh--BTW, Mr. Townsend is absolutely correct--and we've
pointed it out before. The Fair Use that keeps being
tried to be used here does not apply to copyrighted
software we'd be using. Mental gymnastics aside, it's
been shown, discussed by lawyers, and ignored by the
pirate folk around here. There's plenty of software
either freeware, recently classified, or available for
sale used, that this shouldn't be a problem. Still is
tho. (Go Kitty! :))
