Daisy-Chain

Right now I�m in the midst of a project to Towerize a IIe. Aside from
needing custom cables and brackets for almost everything, the most
frustrating thing was trying to get the superdrive to work through
a PC bezel. Seems these cases aren�t all that stiff and it doesn�t
take much of a twist to cause problems. After stiffening the towers
frame a bit everything seems to be working alright. So that�s one
3.5� drive done. Since I don�t need more than 1 SuperDrive I thought
maybe I�d take the easy route for the second drive and use a Laser
or CPS 800k drive except if I remember correctly it won�t work with
the SuperDrive card. So I thought why can�t I attach a daisy-chain
board to it. Unfortunately those drives are at the very back of my
storage so I�m not anxious to spend a lot of time digging only to
find out it doesn�t work.
It�s a long shot but has anyone ever tried attaching an Apple
daisy-chain board to one of these Laser or CPS drives?
