The beauty of the PC Transporter is that it does not actually
fully power up until you boot the PC emulation software
(when the BIOS is downloaded into the card and the V30
is switched on). On standby mode (not running PC software)
the card only consumes as much power as a slinky RAM
card.

That's what it is too on standby mode. So I recommend
keeping the PCT. It can also be used to control 360k
and 720k PC drives with the right cabling.

In standby mode, you can also use the PCT to control
PC drives and store ProDOS stuff on them.

The Second Sight card is useful to have because even on
standard software and ESPECIALLY in AppleWorks, the
display is much easier on the eyes than the standard
Apple II display. Plug the Second Sight into slot 3 on a
ROM 1 because that's where it must be. On a ROM 3,
it can be in other slots. If Second Sight goes into Slot 3,
the accelerator would have to go into slot 4.

I wouldn't sell the Second Sight. It is already a collector
item and will only be worth more as time passes.
