Re: The Computist disk collection is online

Roy, it does look like you are indeed in an awkward position and welcome to the
club. ;) If it's varification you want to obtain - do what I did and what
Celt did (with his scans of Computist and HC) and I'd guess what you'd have to
also do to get varification - although it would only be available as verbal
varification from a phone call to Chuck Haight!
How would you do this? Check your HC and Computist issues for the BBS tel.
number and call it. :)) It's that simple or that comlpex depending on when you
make the call. Most of the time the BBS is all you can reach via that number.
However, occasionally...you can actually get through with a voice to voice
connection to Chuck Haight. So, if you care to give it a try and have success
with your varification efforts on this - I'd welcome any and all Computist and
HC issues and disks - (not already listed in the collection online) - that you
care to share with others and I will certainly make them available for online
public access, when you provide them for such to me. If you decide not to -
that's no problem. I'm sure others with any missing issues will eventually
help by providing them to me.
TIA and Cheers,
Tom
