I've never modified an Apple SCSI card to supply term power and have used
Quantum Apple HDs many times with Rev C and Hi-Speed SCSI cards without
difficulty so I assume the HD supplies this.
Something to be aware of when you're using a HD pulled from a Mac is these
drives are all terminated. If you plan on installing it in an external case
it'd be a
good idea to either remove the resistor packs or if there's a termination
jumper
then remove that. If you're only using one SCSI device it's not overly
important
but if you hook up several individually terminated SCSI devices you'll soon
run into all sorts of problems.
