Do you have PAP at the ISP?  Ask your ISP to check the error messages on
their side.

My provider has a strange setup.
For logging on it is not PPP. Once you are inside you can select PPP.
I would think that marinetti option PPP scripted would have to be used,
but I have NO idea what script I should write.
