HELP #1 - Broken AppleIIc

Hi to All!

I've got an AppleIIc but it does not work well...
The problems are:

1) When i turn on the computer, if there is a Prodos disk in drive the
system read but the system go into an infinite loop!
2) If i press control reset on the keyboard i go into basic... if i write
command, the system actives L/M monitor or it shows some characters, strange
errors or "out of memory!" error
3) Always on the screen there are three strange characters on different
position

I think it can be RAM but the HALxxx chips became hot when i turn on... so
it can be that chips :(

Anyway, the questions are:

1) Where can i found 4264 chips? Are they compatible with 4164?
2) If the HALxxxx chips are broken, where can i buy them? ( I came from
Italy )
