Congratulations! Actually, I've been giving it some thought and to me,
SAM is a more important announcement than SIS was. As a web
browser, SIS was a technical achievement for the IIGS but most
people would rather read web pages with Netscape. However, as
an email reader, the IIGS comes in handy.
Long after I had email access on my PC, I still used the IIGS to check
email on my shell account. At least as long as I had it. It was very
convenient and since the IIGS could boot faster, I used it a lot for
email.
Since I lost my shell account, my IIGS has been sitting there waiting
for something like SAM. With SAM, IIGS email is back in business.
