I'm not trying to change Jeff's mind. I'm simply letting anyone
reading this thread know that what he says isn't necessarily the
truth.
If I do change Jeff's mind, that would simply be a nice bonus.

If it hasn't been reclassified then distributing it on web sites
and/or ftp sites is illegal.

Exactly. If you get an original copy, you are getting it legally.

It is not legal. All the facts point this out but some people refuse
to acknowledge this fact and admit that they are breaking the law.

Exactly. The only way to get them is to find either new or used
original copies for sale somewhere or have someone give you the
originals.

If you've had no problem getting authorization from Apple Computer
Inc. to make their stuff available why is it that everyone else can't
get an answer, gets a run around or gets a negative response?
I've asked Origin myself about reclassifying Knights of Legend but I
never received a response. Does this mean they don't care and that it
can be legally distributed? No. It means that they didn't answer me
and that it is still a commercial product that is illegal to
distribute until Origin says otherwise.

Whether they object or not is irrelevant. If they haven't
reclassified the products then they are still protected by their
original copyright and distribution restrictions and are therefore
being made available illegally.

Which is why it is illegal to distribute them.
