Hi "Doctor" Tom Charles Turley,

*> Both AppleWorks GS and AppleWorks for the Apple II
computer are copyrighted
*> and are the property of Apple Computer. Neither are
commercially offered
*> for sale from Apple Computer nor supported.

Hey. We know.

*> Apple Computer has been informed and contacted by me and
many others about
*> both AppleWorks GS and AppleWorks for the Apple II
computer being available
*> for public access and downloads from online ftp and web
sites. They have
*> always responded that they have no objections to this.

We've asked you to post this info. Because we know you're a
liar. Haven't seen it yet.

*> AppleWorks GS and AppleWorks for the Apple II computer
are both copyrighted
*> commercial programs, available legally as I've outlined
above with both the
*> knowledge of Apple Computer and with no objections from
Apple Computer.

Yes. You repeat yourself quite often. But we don't believe
your "legally". Put up or shut up, worm.

*> Neither AppleWorks GS and AppleWorks for the Apple II
computer are freeware
*> or public domain. It's unlikely that either ever will
be.

So.. What the hell do you mean by "legally" then bonehead?

*> Here's another example of an Apple IIgs program that is
in the same status
*> as AppleWorks GS and AppleWorks for the Apple II
computer. It is available
*> from a few web sites and ftp sites, with the copyright
holders knowledge,

DiversiTune. It is still a
*> commercial program, (but - no longer supported or sold)
by its author and
*> copyright holder. You can buy it new or used from others
legally if you
*> wish - when and where it's offered or your can download
it as a ShrinkIt
*> archive from the web sites and ftp sites that have the
legal right to offer
*> it. I have it on my web site, it's on Ground and we both
have it there for
*> public access and download and to make it available as
such, legally, with
*> the author and copyright holders knowledge, consent and
with no objections
*> from the programs owner. IF he ever decides he does not
wish for it to
*> remain as such, he can contact the site host and it will
be removed
 *> promptly.

Bashum spelled out the conditions, idiot. Those condition
have been met by most of these sites. Apple hasn't given
condtions for AWGW or AW. So you miss the point once again.
William Tell, you're not.

*> The same goes for AppleWorks GS and AppleWorks for the
Apple II computer.

No. It doesn't.

*> If anybody can prove otherwise - then prove otherwise.
And, when I say
*> prove otherwise that's exactly what I mean. To prove
otherwise - you would
*> need a public statement from Apple Computer, officially
stating that they
*> do not want their copyrighted titles of AppleWorks GS and
AppleWorks for
*> the Apple II computer made available for public access
and download from
*> any web site or ftp site. When and if such is presented,
they will be
 *> promptly removed.

Under copyright law, they don't HAVE to say "the do not want
their copyrighted titles of AppleWorks GS and AppleWorks for
the Apple II computer made available for public access".
That's a given.

_YOU_ have to show _THEY'VE_ given permission, asshole.

The burden of proof is on you, fool. Trying to dump it on
others is dishonest, and in error.

But that's Turlettes all over.

 *> Cheers, Tom
