You somehow went from talking IIc specific hard disks to the entire IIgs
market, but whatever. Doesn't matter what I want, I can neither make nor
break it myself. It's fairly broken nowadays.

I bought some stuff from Alltech not overly long ago.

: thing from happening with a revived Alltech Chinook drive?
Again, you're talking two things. I would think that anyone wanting to put
a II to actual use would want a IIgs nowadays. It doesn't matter what a
IIc hard disk cost, it'd be several times (at least) what a used IIgs box
would cost now. There'd be far more bang for the buck in putting part of that
money toward a IIgs instead of toward IIc specific hardware. It only makes
sense to make anything for IIgses at this point.
