I am not sure what the rest of your question was, but I can say I just
repartioned an LCII drive giving a very modest 8 mesg to prodos & it works
fine. You need prodos on your mac volume as well & "prodos file" something
extension will be installed.

Easiet lauch system os to click on icon of  prodos app - I set ot as
Prosel-8 system, ready to launch the few programs we will use in class.
Easy to switch over to Mac when needed. Cool!
