I'm running this version on an LC 475 and although I can boot off the
3.5" drive, I can't write to it. I have tried this on 2 machines at my
work (school!) so I don't think it can be the floppy drive.
Specifically:
LC 475 Sys 7.1
IIe Card
IIe Startup 2.2.2d1
Copy ii+
dks2file55
Boots ok off Prodos floppy.
Can write disk images from dsk2file to /RAM7
Can't copy files or write images to floppy I booted off OR ANY OTHER
PDOS floppy in internal drive.
I'm wondering --
1. Can I reformat the hard drive and put a PRODOS partition and have the
Card see that?
2. Is there a utility that would allow me to transfer image files form
the RAM card to the Mac's hard drive or a serially connected MAC?
3. Do I have the wrong version of the IIe startup software.
4. Do I need the PRODOS file system extension even if I'm running PC
exchange?
5. Is there anything special about the PRODOS that comes with the IIe
startup software -- should I copy it on to my startup floppy?
6. Is there any way to save direct from the iie to the Mac's hard drive?
Thanks in anticipation!
