Me, too. The Focus 'Hard Card' is such an easy, low-cost way to add
a hard drive. (What a difference having even a 20MB Focus available for
under $200 could have made to GS users in 1987!)

Increasing interest in II computing has impacted the supply of
IIe's in two ways:

o- There are more computer shoppers interested in buying a IIe.

o- More individuals and institutions which have IIe's are taking
the opportunity to 'cash in' and offer the machines for sale.

As you say, the supply will eventually dry up. Since millions of
IIe's were produced and lots of them are still around, it could be years
before demand pushes up prices significantly. For now, the most likely
result of increased sales is movement toward a relatively stable 'market
price'.

Unlike other II models, it seems unlikely that the IIe will ever
become a serious "collector's item". (Well, "ever" is a long time. By
2050, who knows?)
