Thanks for the site link. A good read for all of us.

It has been a long time since I last read anything on copyright
law and even then local library probably had outdated material.
Since I live out in the boonies it wouldn't surprise me at all.
I see the mistakes in my earlier post. I suppose the point I was
trying to make is this is a public access forum with no moderation
and as such it would be very difficult and probably fruitless to
try and protect everything you write.

So I still think it unwise to post anything in a news group which
you don't want copied. No matter how you try to protect it short
of a civil lawsuit you will loose. Considering how long it may
take to settle a civil lawsuit you are no better off than you were
before.

Well, that's just my thoughts on the subject. With all the mud
slinging which resulted from my last post, I regret ever sending
it.
