Why not put a 1.44 dos style drive in it? you could make the I/O port
programable so that people could write software to run whatever they want on
it.

USB yes, but Apple holds the patent on the ADB port.

I think 16 and 32 bit slots would be better, perhaps with 1 or 2 8 bit
slots. I like lots of expansion slots as it increases your options.


People who think we can't do this as user should look at the Commodore
people. They were abandoned when Commodore went out of business and yet they
came up with many option for their favorite machine all of which can be
bought through CMD at http://www.cmdweb.com/cbm/index.htm .
