When I save files on a GS, using AppleWorks 5.0 to a 3.5 disk I end up with two like files. One file name is proceeded by a "z". I assume for some reason that AppleWorks in not deleting the first file, but I am at a loss as how to correct this. If I save a file that is too large for two files to fit on the same disk, everything works fine . Walt
