Hi,
just pointing out that while this was the classic 'out of the box'
behavior of the Apple II
many companies produced Hard Disk products for them, including Apple,
who sold a SCSI
card for the machine. Although it's pretty rare to find such things
(since all the Apple II
diehards have snapped up such gear to the point that it's very
expensive) it wasn't all
that uncommon to find hard drive equipped Apple II's in business/school
environments.
