Re: Apple IIc - CGA/EGA PC conversion box

Thank you for reply!

In Europe there is a video-standard called 'SCART Europlug' which is fitted
on most modern type PAL-type TV-sets and VCR's.

This option might be concidered if the 'Video-7 --> CGA-converters' for PC
RGB-monitors are hard to get by! I have forwarded an inquiry to 'Alltech
Electronics' but they have not responded on availability as yet.

If using a high quality digital100Hz TV-set, I think it should be handle the
resolution also in 80 coloumn mode. I am using the IIc today with the
'Monitor ///" which gives a very good monochrome coutput.

I do believe there exists "composite -->SCART converters" which may work on
the IIC composite output. These converters are used with type
game-consoles, Sony Playstation, Nintendo etc. for connecting to TV-sets.
I'll check on this.

best regards
