Re: Problem: 0-modem cable serial connection to IIC from PC.? - Thanks
Dear Phoenyx
Thank you for the advice on shortquit hazard during online-sessions with the
IIc.
My IIc modem-port unit survived, but perhaps by shear luck. I'll certainly
pay attention to this in the future.
Regarding my original inquiry regarding the ADT-dump transfer to the IIC:
I've managed to make some progress on the ADT-cable, by rewiring the cableto
Dsub 9M which fits directly to the PC-port according to your FAQ pin
assignment scheme.
I've then transferred the ADT dump by a terminal program, and the program is
up an running. However, the ADT wont let me browse the directory on the
Win98 machine, even though the ADT.EXE is running!
Would you have any advice on what might be the problem here. Is 19200 bps.
too fast for the IIC?
best regards
Aage Rettvin
