Glad the tip was useful. I really don't use Windows much myself.
My son and wife do though. The FTP Explorer he uses works very
similar to the Windows Explorer and he's happy with it so I
guess I better not change things. :-)

BTW, on the MC thing, it may be a little tricky to set up. I
can't remember the exact syntax off hand. It will let you store
these directory links so you can easily access them again. At
least in the text mode program. Supposedly, the Gnome version
will do this also, but again, I haven't tried. I wind up using
the text shell, I like the way it handles files and especially
viewing.

Yep, the Tucows site offers quite a bounty of useful programs
and utilities.
