I've been thinking on this one. It may be that your CPU socket may be
the weak link if it inserts too easily. This may cause a bad connection
that could cause the problems you reffered to.
I am assuming you have already cleaned the pins on the TWGS with
alcohol. BTW, I reccomend everclear as it leaves no residue and is
available at midnight when you reealy need it. ;) (Of course you do have
to be 21 to get it.)
But instead of risking the pins on the accelerator, consider using a new
CPU socket to bridge the two pieces. Take a new 40 pin dip socket and
stick it onto the TWGS connector. Bend the pins on the new socket as
necessary (minimally) to make contact with the socket on the MB.
