rest
There is a low-priced Grappler on EBay right now. Also several members of the
Apple II Mail Group have sold $10 Grapplers during our items-for-sale periods.
Usually we have one in February, but it will probably be delayed because of my
move (Feb 24-25).
On the question of how far to go to help someone, for me it depends on if they
are a TEXAS II subscriber or not. If they are, I'll spend 8 hours (such as
fixing a newly discovered Y2K bug and doing the update). If they are not a
subscriber, they get one hour/answer/attempt from me at solving the problem.
You have to decide how much time you are willing to spend, and then stick to
it. Refer them elsewhere if it isn't productive. It sounds like this person
should be talking to the person who sold him the goods, not you.
