Re: Video tape Interface board?

There's a Bell and Howell video tape interface board for auction on Ebay.
Does anyone have any experience with one of these? I assume that this would
be used to edit video tapes somehow. The auction does not come with any
software or manuals -does anyone have the software for this card, and the
manuals?

Thanks!

Hi,
This I believe is not used to edit tapes, but to store or backup your HD on a VHS tape. This came out when  people were getting into VCRs. Not many had HDs at this time due to cost. This was a way to back up what you had on tape thur a VCR.
They did make a  laser disk interface that would let you change the sequnce of events. You could create a different movie, by rearranging events.
