I'll tell you why I care. Suppose I am in need of some card - let's
say my SCSI card has short circuited or whatever - and I know they
aren't being manufactured anymore, and I heard that people elsewhere
have paid a couple of dozen dollars for it, and there is exactly such
a card for sale at eBay, and I bid a couple of dozen dollars, and
then I see some idiot walking away with it for a couple of hunderd
dollars, not because they *need* it, but because it was advertised as
a GENUINE!! ABSOLUTELY ORIGINAL!! VINTAGE!! MUST HAVE!! REAL APPLE
][!! product.

*sigh*. That's why I care.
