Disk Creation Question

Is there any way i can send a disk image to my IIgs via the gs serial port
in text mode (ie, in "Moniter Dump" format) and write it to a disk? I have
had no luck using ADTgs (it spits me to the * prompt with a BRK 00 at $470A)
and ADT, which runs, wont use the serial port. I can send text from my
laptop to the IIgs via NULL modem quite eaisly, and was just wondering if
there was a way i could send terminal software over, because i have none.
