Not completely off topic. This has been discussed here to
some degree. Ultimately, it depends on the card/slot
combination. For instance, if you put a SSC in slot 2 and
use a program like Proterm which can access the real
hardware, you will most likely confuse the system. On the
other hand, you could put a different type of card in slot
2 and Proterm will be able to use the GS serial hardware.
