I think there are a number of problems with this.  One is that you are
asking people to abandon anything they might be working on at present
to put a lot of effort into a large and complex project that they will
get no monetary return from.  This is a big turn off for a lot of
people.

Second, you've mentioned it here but most of the remaining Apple II
programmers that could handle this kind of a programming project are
on Delphi and they do not read messages here.  There has been some
discussion about web browsers in the Apple II Programmer's forum on
Delphi.  There is a link to the discussion on the A2Pro web page at:
