Help: GS RAM PLUS docs and diags needed

Greets:
I own a GS RAM PLUS card by Applied Engineering.  I believe it
ultimately holds 6 Megs, I have 5 on it now.  I got this inside of a GS
I purchased a while back.  I think it is flakey.  I need some
documentation to tell me how to fill the card and if there is a utility
out there to test this specific card and tell me which chips ar bad/
might be bad, I'd like that too.

I have done some looking into this and found and interesting question
posted in a FAQ- What IC do I need to use the GS-RAM Plus in my Apple
IIgs?  You need the GSPLD1A.1 for a ROM-01 GS and the GSPLD1B.1 for a
ROM 3.

Does this mean that if I move to a ROM3 that I will have to get a new
card?

Again, any help is greatly appreciated.  I'd like to have a stable IIgs
soon.
