CP/M is owned by Caldera, Inc.  If you go to www.calderathin.com, you'll see
that CP/M is not public domain, but it IS open for free noncommercial use to
nonlicensed owners of the software.  For us hobbyists, wahoo!

While I'm at it, they have (buried someplace) documentations for v2.2 and
v3.3, including all the modification guides, et.al.. just in case you lost
yours.
