Re: Ethernet Problems on G3
Hi Elmer,
thank's for your reply, by now I have already solved the problem.
After a clean install (with new Systemfolder checked) I used the new
preferences folder in the old systemfolder and it worked.
After that I've put all files from the new installed pref folder in the
old one and it didn't work. So I transfered the files again but this
time one by one leaving out all remote access related stuff and it works
fine.
After that I reactivate the old systemfolder. Doing this I even did not
have to reinstall all software, by using the old Systemfolder but new
systempreferences.
A normal install even with trashing the related prefernces before, did
strangely not do the job.
Maybe this will help someone in the future.
Disclamer: Do not ty something similar on a windows maschine ;-)
