Well, it's a cinch they know a lot more about net tricks than I do. That's
one big reason for encouraging more informed readers here to, at least
occasionally, take the time to blow some spammer out of the water.
Notice that the TV spammer from gtei.net (or gte.net) is still messing
around. (Of course, it's been less than a day since the last batch of spams was
reported.) Certainly, Jeff B's earlier observation makes sense-- we can not
very well post info on every spam without cluttering the newsgroup. Maybe,
every so often, info on recent spams could be posted.
Spamcop ( http://spamcop.net/ ) seems mainly concerned with email; but,
the site does have quite a bit of information which relates to newsgroup
spamming. Thanks for the lead.
