Usenet servers cannot know what messages you have read, so any reader
has to do that itself. It describes in the SNAP manual how SNAP will use
the highest message number last read to get the next set of headers.

If you still think there is a problem, send me an email to the bug
reporting address in the SNAP manual. Send me the log entry showing the
message you sent, the time zone you had set in the TimeZone CDev, and
the time your IIgs clock said when you sent it.

NNTP or Usenet messages, are required to have a Date field in the
header, showing when the message was first sent. Unlike emails, the
servers do not add a time to the message.
