Speaking as a recent re-convert to // land and someone who has played with 
other emulators (C64 nd the like), I was amazed to learn that when things are 
ported to Apple emulators, the dsk image is the REAL DISK, ie, that with a 
simple nullmodem connection, an Apple of course,  and a progy like ADT it is 
possible to write the 
actual image back to a floppy!   This is amazing. 
I do have a way to copy Apple disks on my PC but I have het to figure out how 
to write them.  The answer is a mid-80s vintage Central Point Options Card.  
This is a Floppy port add-on that allows direct blcok sector writing to a 
floppy so that any format can be written.  Heck I even copied a Osborne disk 
on it.
Some hardware based on this old design might allow direct rea-writes from a 
PC.  btw, it requires your old 360k 5.25 drive to do this magic.
